Every day, design shapes the way we experience Atlanta—from the streets we walk and the parks we enjoy to the neighborhoods we call home. Yet many of the decisions that influence our city happen long before most people know they're being made.
The Architecture & Design Center of Atlanta (ADC) believes that good design is a public good. By connecting professionals, students, community leaders, and residents through engaging programs and meaningful conversations, we're building a stronger design culture for everyone.
Whether you're an architect, engineer, planner, designer, student, business owner, or simply someone who cares about the future of Atlanta, there's a place for you in our community.
Here's how you can get involved.

Participate in Atlanta Design Events
The easiest way to become part of Atlanta's design community is to show up.
Throughout the year, the ADC hosts architecture tours, panel discussions, family-friendly workshops, community events, and public conversations that make architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, and planning accessible to everyone.
Whether you're attending Dining by Design, exploring Atlanta Streets Alive with us, creating a lantern for the Atlanta BeltLine Lantern Parade, or joining one of our Design Forum discussions, every event is an opportunity to learn, connect, and discover how design influences everyday life.
Ways to participate:
Attend ADC programs and events
Join an architecture or neighborhood tour
Volunteer at community events
Become a Design Advocate by sharing what you learn with others
Call to Action: Explore our upcoming events, bring a friend, and experience how good design shapes Atlanta.

Lead the Conversation About Good Design
Strong design culture depends on people who are willing to lead.
If you're passionate about architecture, planning, preservation, sustainability, or community engagement, we'd love to work with you.
Leadership opportunities range from serving on the ADC Board of Directors and participating in strategic planning sessions to sharing your expertise as a speaker, workshop leader, or mentor.
You don't have to be an architect to lead. Great ideas come from every profession and every neighborhood.
Ways to lead:
Serve on the Board of Directors
Join strategic planning initiatives
Present at an event or workshop
Mentor students and emerging professionals
Help shape future ADC programming
Call to Action: Contact us to learn how your experience can help strengthen Atlanta's design community.

Advocate for Better Design in Atlanta
One conversation can change how someone sees their city.
Design advocacy begins by helping others understand why architecture, planning, transportation, public spaces, and sustainability matter.
By sharing ADC programs, inviting friends to events, and introducing new people to the design community, you help create a city where more people recognize and support thoughtful design.
Ways to advocate:
Share ADC events on social media
Invite colleagues and neighbors to programs
Recommend the ADC to students and emerging professionals
Encourage conversations about good design in your community
Call to Action: Help us grow Atlanta's design culture—one conversation at a time. Follow us on social media: Instagram and Facebook.
Support Our Mission
As an independent nonprofit, the ADC relies on the generosity of individuals, businesses, foundations, and volunteers to continue connecting people with architecture and design.
Every contribution helps us provide educational programming, community events, public conversations, and resources that strengthen Atlanta's design culture.
You can support our mission by making a financial donation, sponsoring a program, volunteering your time, or contributing professional services and expertise.
Every gift—large or small—helps create more opportunities for people to experience, understand, and advocate for good design.
Call to Action: Make a donation, become a sponsor, or contact us to discuss how your skills and resources can help build a stronger design culture for Atlanta.
Together, We're Building Atlanta's Design Culture
A thriving design community isn't created by one organization alone. It's built through the relationships, ideas, and shared commitment of people who believe Atlanta deserves thoughtful, beautiful, and resilient places.
Whether you participate, lead, partner, advocate, or give, your involvement helps create a city where good design is celebrated, understood, and supported by everyone.
Join us—and be part of shaping Atlanta's future through design.
